Things Go Down Hill Again.
After having my sister my mom went back to drugs thankfully she didn't take any while she was pregnant with her. We went home after going back and forth to court, but only for a few months. Then we were ripped from her again but this time my sister was in the mix too. all three of us were what you would call seperated. She went to stay with her dads mom and my brother & I stayed with my dads parents. My mom landed herself in jail then in rehab and snuck out and found herself staying from home to home searching the streets for another high, another pill. I moved from the middle school I was at to Allen Elementary School after my sisters grandmother gained permanent custody of her and my grandparents gained custody of us. In my first week starting my middle of my eighth grade year at my new school, I signed up for "Basketball Homecoming Court", after my friends begged me to I didn't really want to but, I did. After only a week of being at my new school I won Basketball Homecoming Queen along side Mr. Eagle Cody Francis my distant cousin. So I guess you could kinda say that even though my mothers drug problem stopped until she had my sister and then afterwards she started again things kinda got better. Even though I was struggling mentally behind the scenes of my school life, moving schools during the middle of my Eighth Grade year was the best choice I ever made even though I had to leave my friends at my old school behind for a number of reasons.
- I learnt better.
- I was away from the negativity from the other schools kids teaching staff and Facuilty and the kids parents.
- The Teachers actually cared about my education and not just the money in their pocket.
- I made real true friends that I'm still friends with to this day.
